Is anyone else out there afraid to buy their kids toys this Christmas due to all the recent recalls and now finding out that there is going to be more toys recalled? I do not know if I can handle having to take another beloved toys away from my crying children. I have already had to do this to my kids on several toys they would find in after I hid them to get them back and had to take them out of their little hands because I was afraid of them getting sick. Is anyone else feeling the same way or am I just being overly scared.
Kids survive an awful lot. When I was little our cribs had lead paint. Houses built before 1978 had lead paint.
I recently did a blog on toy safety that might help you in choosing new toys. I’m still buying toys for my grandsons for Christmas and the baby is 1.
no not really but mine are 8 and past all the toys being recalled. Try to stick with outdoor play stuff and book and that type of thing
No I am not worried. We grew up with lead based paint in the houses and some of the same toys. I bet they didn’t check the lead in these either. I don’t ever remember hearing of people dying from this when I was younger. I don’t recall anyone getting sick or dying from any of these newer toys either.
I think people are overly cautious these days.
yes i am thnkfully i hvn’t had to take any toys away…
